Collection: 2023 Cultivate Design

In 2023, Cultivate commissioned local artist Stephanie Ellis to create a design that reflects our work and mission. Stephanie created an image titled "Growth," which visually represents the concept of community building and the spread of ideas, akin to the way dandelion seeds disperse in the wind.

The design features elements that highlight the creation and coexistence of ideas. It includes imagery of origami, specifically the stages of folding a paper crane, alongside a heron in the sky, demonstrating the process from concept to reality. Another aspect of the design is shadow play, where illustrated animals appear to emerge from hand puppets, symbolizing the materialization of ideas.

"Growth" combines these elements to depict a community that develops from a single seed, where a variety of ideas can thrive. This design by Stephanie Ellis is a visual representation of Cultivate's dedication to fostering creativity and supporting the development of a diverse and thriving artistic community.
